![]() Jesús Garza has been exhibiting his photographs since 1970. His photographic collection includes Imágenes Xicano, a series of documentary photographs from the 70s that provide a unique history of the Chicana/o movement and form a primary core of his photographic production. These photographs continue to be used in books, articles and exhibitions. These images are also the foundation of his upcoming book, Chicano Photographer. Garza in 2007 and 2008 exhibited his series Chicano Photographer in Maryland and several venues in California. Also released in 2007 were his series Globe, AZ and Cadillac Nudes. In 2003, Jesús’ photographs were selected to be part of the exhibition Chicano Now/Visions that toured the US.
