My 2006 photographic series explores shadow, light and texture. I have been shooting black and white since the mid-60s and favor this genre because it gives me the freedom to abstract details and emphasize subtle gradations of tone rather than color. I believe monochromatic prints leave more to the imagination and if done well are timeless.
