ABOUT Chorizo Links

Chorizo Links is a free database search engine dedicated to providing easy access to as many Chicano, Photography and Career resources as possible. Chorizo Links was established in March 1997 to fill a void in the Internet Chicano and Arts community for instant web site visibility and traffic... not world domination, as rumored.

Why Chorizo Links?

• Links from a Chicano Photographers perspective. Not some get rich scheme.
• The major search engines and directory sites may require several weeks or longer before web site listings actually show up in their catalog, if ever. Time is money and not being listed means people aren't finding your site.
• Many of the major search engines filter out all but a few sites to appear in their categorized directory. Getting traffic to your web site is hard to do when you can't get listed in the directory. The odds of someone finding your web site is very low when searching through a database with millions of other web sites.
• Web Rings are a nice idea but most surfers don't have enough stamina to click through the hundreds of sites in a web ring to find your site. One broken link in the ring means your site gets skipped. The other risk is that the surfer finds what they want before ever getting a link to your web site.
• Other directory services out there, recognizing this void, are trying to charge Chicanos, Photographers and Job Seekers for their directory listing services.

Chorizo Links provides instant web site listing services for free (gratis). 

This service is free but we would appreciate a link back to Chorizo Links in exchange. The more visibility you can give Chorizo Links results in more visibility and traffic for all the sites listed at Chorizo Links, and that's what it's all about. All of the links found at Chorizo Links has either been entered by the webmaster of that site, or from various volunteers.
