The controversial border fence that separates parts of the USA and Mexico is largely ineffectual, but is a daily reminder of the chasm separating two countries. This section is manufactured from large-rusting metal girders. It looks quite imposing. Through the slats of the porous fence you can see a modest Arizona neighborhood.
